Okay here's the low down. My school had a blood drive Thursday and I decided to be brave and face that terrible little instrument, the needle. Well to be honest it wasn't that bad at all. Actually when they pricked my finger to test my blood for iron it hurt soooooo much worse then the needle did. When I sat down at the uhhh chair I guess you could say I asked the nurse that was preparing the stuff for the actual donating part how many times she done this and simply said "How come everyone asks me that question?" She didn't answer my question..............Well anyway after so and so things they was about to put the needle in my arm the nurse wouldn't let me watch her put the needle in....Bummer.....Well as I stared at the pretty, dull, white walls there was nothing.....than OMG THAT HURTS!!!! I said that out loud to. It caught me off guard!!! Well she stuck it in a little then stopped another nurse came and stuck it in a little more than stopped for a few seconds. She did that 2 or 3 time before she actually got it the way she wanted! I was sitting there thinking in my head and NOT OUT LOUD, just stick the thing in already!! After that it was pretty boring I looked at my friend who was one over from me and the poor looked stoned....She stared up at the ceiling like Ohhhhh what are those pretty things. The only thing a recommend is don't get up to fast because I did that and I almost passed out. There was one girl who did she was talking to another person and she stepped back a few then hit the floor it was loud to so loud, in fact that you knew it hurt and you felt it in the back of your head. It was funny because the nurse asked me if I was okay and I said "Yes" than I saw that it it was like "Nope not anymore"
